STEPS Head Start & Childcare is an early childhood education program that serves infant, toddler, and preschool age children. We provide an inclusive, individualized environment that enhances the social emotional development of all participants, fosters the ability to make connections, provides meaningful interactions, and learning experiences that will prepare children and families to be self-sufficient and school ready.

STEPS Head Start serves children from the following counties:

Amelia, Appomattox, Buckingham, Charlotte, Cumberland, Lunenburg, & Prince Edward.

STEPS Early Head Start serves pregnant women and their families, infants, and toddlers in Amelia, Charlotte, Lunenburg, & Prince Edward.

STEPS is a subsidized childcare provider in Prince Edward & Charlotte Counties.

STEPS offers toddler slots in Prince Edward through State funded Mixed Delivery.

STEPS offers a private childcare option in Farmville, VA
