The Creative Curriculum®
The Creative Curriculum® for Preschool is one of the most widely used pre-K curricula in the nation. It’s comprehensive, research-based, research-proven, and it features exploration and discovery as a way of learning. Our teaching teams have been working to create digital content that is tied to The Creative Curriculum® studies. This content will provide activities that parents and children can do together.

STEPS has a hands on, play based approach to learning and we are trying to translate that to the home environment. Everyday common tasks are great opportunities for learning if we follow the child's lead and expand on each experience by scaffolding, asking questions, promoting conversation, and back and forth exchanges.

Weekly lesson plans will be uploaded to our website. These activities are designed for self-paced learning. Parents can access the activities at a time that is convenient for them.
​
Activities are designed to be completed using found objects. If specific materials are needed STEPS will send them home with food deliveries.
​
We know that you are busy and may not have time to complete every activity or participate in every TEAMS meeting, that is fine! Do what you can and know that your child's teaching team is here to support you in any way.
